A shadowy Tokyo smoker

Now no longer the smokers’ paradise it once was, Japan’s cigarette lovers are slowly but surely being ushered into the shadows.

Thank you! Wasn’t sure I’d got it at the time, so very pleased with the way it came out.

Cheers. It’s certainly interesting to watch how attitudes to smoking are changing in Japan. Or at least the restrictions on smoking.

Okay, okay! I’ll spill the beans. I’ll tell you everything. Where I was Thursday night at eleven PM. Just stop staring at me like that, and please put that ciggie out, cuz y’know, second hand smoke…
    LOL
Very Noir. Great stuff, nice capture. I can only imagine he was standing on the border of sunlight and the darkness of an underpass tunnel. Love how he’s pushed his mask down for his nicotine fix.

      Haha!

Cheers. Very happy the way it worked out. He was skulking in the shadows of an otherwise beautifully lit side street. And yeah, the pushed down mask is a detail I liked too.
