Dog love and devotion

Not necessarily the kind of scene one usually sees on Tokyo Times, but some moments are so genuinely sweet it’s impossible to just pass by.

Definitely the first time one of your photos made me go “Awwwww!”

I know. Maybe I’m getting soft as I get older… Will have to follow it up with some suitably miserable photos!

Sooooo adorable!! I’d have wanted to hold the dog more than take a picture! 🙂

It was a lovely little thing. A photo was enough for me though. Didn’t want to interupt!

Definitely not your usual choice of scene, but full of character, both canine and human. Is that a rather close cropped spitz, or just a random cross? I imagine the summer heat would mean long haired dogs appreciate a trim. I used to have an afghan hound who swealtered in the summer, but she would have chewed my arm off if I’d tried to cut her hair – she was so vain 🙂

Thanks. Yeah, something a bit different for sure. No idea what it is to be honest, but it was a lovely little thing. Very well behaved too.

You don’t see many afghan hounds around here, although the odd larger dog can be seen now and again. Seen a couple of great danes which was a huge surprise. Can’t even begin to imagine how they manage in the average Japanese home…

Very sweet (from a dog lover´s point of view) and well captured (from a photographer´s point of view)!

Too cute! When will they open up a cute puppy stall?
