Old buddies and age-old banter

A gentle bit of sport-related banter between friends, with both happily content in the knowledge that, at least in regards to their respective teams, the other really doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

Cheers Biggie! Due to the almost timeless nature of their conversation, I thought a dated look suited the image.

Maybe they were saying “I always knew it!’ about the sumo bid rigging.

Yeah, the warning signs have been there for a long time. Not sure where the sport goes now…

You captured their expressions wonderfully and quite skillfully. Emphasis on skill, because I don’t think enough people realize how tough it is to get truly expressive candid shots. As always, I love your work.

As a novice to photography, I seem to have a knack for capturing people in mid scowl /eyes and face contorted , so that all my subjects seem to be extras from the movie “The Exorcist”.

Thank you very much! It was nice to capture them as they were, enjoying a fun conversation, but believe me, I know exactly what you mean about ‘exorcist’ moments.
