Old school Tokyo clothes shop

When it comes to modern clothes shops, Tokyo isn’t exactly lacking. But move away from the city’s busy hubs, and the branded stores and cool boutiques slowly make way for considerably older outlets. Places where fashion often plays second fiddle to price and functionality.

I’m pretty are I’d never shop there, but great so see stores like this still exist in Tokyo. A look at what the city was once like I guess.

Yeah, I aways enjoy seeing them. Happy to say there’s a surprising amount of them still in business too. Long may that continue.

Yes, there are quite a few of them, including Pearl Center on the south side of Asagaya station. Covered arcades throughout the city where everyone, especially the working class shop typically have shops like this one.

Yes, thankfully there’s still a lot of them left. Hopefully that’ll continue to be the case for a long time to come too.
