    The whitespace is such a strong element of the photograph. Very Japanese.
    Why do older men often stand with their hands clasped behind their backs. It’s not a stance that feels compfortable to me at all.

      Thanks. I really like that aspect as well. Interesting you view it as very Japanese. I hadn’t thought about it like that.

      It’s funny. I’ve always laughed at my Dad for standing and walking with his hands behind his back. Over the last few years though, I’ve found myself doing the same thing. Increasingly often too. And despite not wanting to, I have to admit that for me at least it feels very nice…
