The beauty of nature taking man-made objects back

There are numerous overgrown structures and objects on these pages, but this scene is truly something special.

I reckon it’s probably fair to say it’s both.

This is also one of my favorite genres and I would have thought I’d seen everything but the car takes it to the next level. This would almost be scarily post-apocalyptic if it weren’t for the person riding their bike in the corner of the first one. Grateful for the sign of (human) life

Yeah, next level is the perfect way to describe it. I agree about the person too. I waited to get someone in that little window. Then it was deciding whether to use the photo with them or one of those without. I think with was the right choice.

Amazing how quickly a grey urban island abandoned for whatever reason is brightened by greenery on the outside and silenced by spider dust inside so quickly. A truely evocative record of a wonderful find.

Thank you. It really is an incredible spot. So rich in colour and life despite being long-abandoned.
