Nov 21 2016 7 CommentsTokyo 24 hour paralytic people In Tokyo, a night out can very easily roll round to the next day, but the need to sleep can just as effortlessly sneak up before night-time falls again.
I”m guessing the old rock and roll dudes were just to hardcore for him! 🙂
More than likely! Those two fascinated me. Fellas who presumably haven’t changed appearance wise for decades.
Great photograph. That couple are deep in conversation putting the world to rights.
I used to find that the gap between the end of the dinnertime session the following day and the start of the second evening session was the hard bit for me, (back in the day when the UK pubs had strict opening and closing hours). Nice Alonso cap from when he was a Ferarri driver.
I don’t often get to say the UK is better than Japan, but we do have better beer gardens.
I take it the pale crate in the foreground was your seat 🙂
Yes, as beer gardens go it’s not the nicest! Compared to Britain at that time, the considerably more relaxed licensing laws here were nothing short of a marvel when I first arrived. Any night could be an all-nighter, pretty much whichever area you happened to be in. Going out for a couple and rolling home after day break was always fun. Sadly even heading home on the last train after beers is tough to bounce back from these days, so it’s now very rare indeed I indulge like the fellas in the photo.
Nah, not my crate. The man sitting there got up as I was walking down the alley to use the toilet, which was very fortunate as it gave me a clear shot of the scene above.
Was this taken from my he hip? The more I look at this picture the more I like it. Maybe I’d like to be there with all of you guys! 🙂
I meant the hip. Wtf is he hip. Ha
Haha, nah, not from any kind of hip! Just walked past them, turned round, and fired off a quick shot. The fellas talking never even looked up. Just as oblivious to my presence as the other bloke!
Cheers. Happy the way it came out. The setting I really like, and perhaps even more the retro looks of the two talking. Men who long ago found a look they like and have remained committed to it ever since.
