With June almost over, and weather apps now switching from umbrella marks to fiery red sun symbols, it would seem that Tokyo has turned the corner and left the horrible grey humidity of rainy season behind. The only trouble is that in its place is the intense heat and even more horrible humidity of summer…
So I guess I shouldn’t visit Tokyo in summer? 😉
Haha, no, I really wouldn’t advice it!
There are many things I miss about living in Japan: the rainy season is not one of them.
I can well imagine. Thoroughly unpleasant, isn’t? This year it’s now officially over in Kanto, making it the first on record to finish in June: http://www.asahi.com/ajw/articles/AJ201806290033.html
