Cheers. Very pleased with this one. It all came together quite nicely.

It’s brimful of detail, colour and geometry, and of course .. timing! One of the best of this sort of thing. The background just .. fits.
The title reminded me of ‘The sun and the shutters and the sun shattered hair’ – David Berman/Silver Jews. Cloud free this time.

Thanks a lot. It’s a great spot at this time of year when the sun is out. So much to like. Just a matter of getting someone in the frame at the right time.
Oh, that’s a fantastic line. Now need to try and take a photo that allows me to use it.

Wonderful lyric. Thanks for adding a branch to this musical family tree for me.
I come here for a glimpse of Tokyo through Lee’s lens and often come away with a new playlist and perhaps lyric for a future photograph, “A kitten from Great Britain sleeps behind the drapes ” 🙂

I resisted at first, but then there had been a Joni Mitchell reference recently. Portraits can often only be commented on as ‘nice’, ‘wow’ etc. or in reference to something out of frame.
Mr Berman’s lens was equally up close, focussed and sharp – but maybe not ideal for glowstick waving sell outs in Tokyo, or any other sort of sell out for that matter.
I thought it was a ‘chicken from Great Britain’ for a long time, either way, his animals seemed to need provenance.
I’m going to be looking out for a Mr Lee cat snap now!
