It almost seemed that way. Certainly an odd place to choose. I really couldn’t work out what was going on.

What an amazing shot, framing and contrast between the subjects is so great it almost looks posed (hope thats not taken the wrong way). Kind of wish it was, I’d watch the hell out of that sitcom.

Thanks. And no, not taken the wrong way it all. Quite the opposite in fact.

Haha, I like the idea of it being a sitcom!

Such contrasts you have captured here. The yellow, black, red and blue are so vivid. One laden with possessions, one not. Both lost in different ways.

It’s not often one of your photographs includes a map of where it was taken 🙂

I have stood in the very spot, though not looking at either the map or the vending machine. I’d mislaid my good lady wife having been engrossed in taking photos as we came back over the crossing after an evening in Shibuya. There gave me a view of two entrances and the mural of the Akita dogs we’d agreed to meet at if separated.

Cheers. Those colours really stood out. And yeah, very rare to include an almost exact location. But this time it was to my advantage!

He was stood there for hours. Seemingly praying the whole time. I do hope that you weren’t there, praying to see the missus, for a similarly long time!

Lol. No. Looking for a small woman with shoulder length dark hair in perhaps the busiest location in Japan, at night, isn’t ideal, whilst I had “lost” her she hadn’t lost me and was keeping just out of sight watching me to see how I’d react. Gotta love her sense of humour 🙂

That’s funny. Good on her. That must have been very amusing.
