A definite festival don’t

There are a tremendous amount of things that one can, or indeed should, take to a Japanese festival, such as a sense of fun, a fair bit of cash for some booze, and a camera in some form or other to fire off a few photos.

But a dog, is definitely, not a decent idea.

Ha…! Great photo – love the dog’s tongue hanging out and the feeling of the dog’s weight.

It’s funny, I was thinking this very same thing last week: I was at a Bon Odori and it must’ve been 35C. So many people had dogs and I kept thinking: “Why…? Why drag your dog to a festival in this heat with all the people and the noise…?” It can’t be much fun for either the dog or the owner…

      Cheers Laura!

Yeah, I’m a firm believer of looking after a pet properly, and not leaving it alone for large amounts of time, but there are definitely times when they are best left at home.

At the very least, perhaps he should have invested in one of those doggy strollers. 🙂
