Isn’t that one of your favourite photo shoot spot ? I’m sure I have seen it several times already. Once with a beautiful Kimono ?

It is. This is the kimono shot: https://www.tokyotimes.org/tokyo-kimono-contrast/

Always like dropping by and seeing if someone interesting walks by. Have never done a black and white photo here, so this fella fitted the bill perfectly.

Thanks. Yeah, his hat and general style made black and white the perfect fit. Was very happy when turned the corner!

Ahh, it’s like seeing an old friend. I’m sad to say that after four visits to Tokyo I still havn’t paid my respects to this rock yet. Nice to see you have got more of it in shot ๐Ÿ™‚ I can’t help imagining it’s a meteorite like the Allende one (https://tinyurl.com/y3y8jzg4), just sitting there patiently, waiting to be discovered.

That’s definitely how I feel. To be honest, the desire to touch the rock is hard for me to resist, so maybe it is a meteorite after all and it’s quietly drawing people in…

So yeah, a visit to pay your respects is well overdue!

I believe that you’ve previously said that this Tube Station is located in Asukusa. Can you please be a little more specific?

It is, yeah. To be honest, I don’t like giving locations out here. Doesn’t matter for this one so much, but other times it might do. Plus it’s a habit I simply don’t want to get into.

That said, send me an email using the form on this site, or my portfolio one, and I’ll happily send you a map and/or coordinates.
