Sometime, I miss the feel of grey so common in large Asian (Chinese) Cities, truly. It gives a feeling of unreality that soothes the mind.
Long period of sharp view here in SoCal can leave you wishing for the soft greys, the moody feel of helplessness, the only thing left making sense being to stay in bed and do nothing at all!!!!!
It makes me think about shanghai. Shanghai actually seemed worse to me than Tokyo. In fact, even in postcards of shanghai’s skyline, they grey is pretty obvious. Most residents i talked to about it claimed it had to do with the humidity. theres no doubt a pollution factor, but they were right about humidity making a difference. Down in florida, US (tampa and oralndo, during the day theres a significant grey. not half as bead, but it’s there.)
What a nice picture! It exactly shows a city that I see everyday.
I was actually surprised by the grey color and not lined up buildings
when I came back from USA. (I was in alabama and did not see many
buildings but sky…I guess it is one of reasons to be surprised with
uncolorfull Tokyo.lol)

I am always surprised at how polluted Tokyo is every time I visit it. I never noticed it when I lived there…
