A senior citizen singing in the sun

For the senior citizen pictured below, a sheltered area comfortably warmed by a weak spring sun offers the perfect spot for a sit down and a song or two.

And his voice, as frail as his appearance and barely audible over the background noise, is as soothing as the sunshine — maybe even more so.

Listen!

Fantastic Lee! With the singing and the look on his face he must have been deep in thought about something or someone.

Thanks Ken! Yes, he was either lost in thought or in the song as he was happily oblivious to the possible distractions of me and some nearby kids.

Today is definitely a great day for sunbathing, and apparently singing while at it … Great capture, Lee.

Btw, how do you record the singing? And what is that on his right hand?

      Cheers [Gm]!

I recorded his singing with my iPhone and the AudioBoo app, as it allows me to upload it and then embed it on here. Quick and simple. It’s free too.

Oh, and he was holding a small towel/cloth that’s all.

        I’ll try the apps… :-).
        Thanks for the info, Lee…

Oh, a towel. I thought it was a microphone :D…

That is really sweet. And he looks quite stylish as well, with that hat and the trousers.
