Food and daily necessities need to be bought, plus bills and the like still have to be paid, so the stroller assisted struggle goes on.

Lee something about this picture is really interesting. Perhaps because everything is pretty much in complete focus. I like the clearness in this shot. Is this an advantage of using a rangefinder vs dslr?
Nah, I don’t think so. At least not from my experience. For me personally, I prefer the focusing system of a rangefinder, but this shot could have been produced with either.
I guess that ageing Japan and the shrinking population doesn’t make the NHK news daily, but the BBC does seem to worry: http://bbc.com/news/world-asia-31901943

Total respect to her for getting out and doing everything she has to, but it somehow seems really sad……

Great photo of ageing Japan; I love those strollers, when you get tired you just sit down on the other end 🙂

Cheers.
I know. A good few times I wouldn’t have minded that luxury myself!

Cheers for the link – hadn’t seen that.
It’s a huge problem, isn’t it? One that’s not necessarily all that noticeable in Tokyo, but head out of the city and it’s very obvious…
