A wide, wild, staring eye

He surprised me. I surprised him. But a post-shot mutual nod made our brief passing an unexpectedly pleasant one.

I feel like if you talk to him, he’ll give you information but phrased as cryptically as possible (in the manner of a stereotypical madman).

Quite possibly. The nod was was pleasant, but probably enough.

There are. It’s the people that make a city, and thankfully Tokyo has a lot of interesting people.

Nah, I don’t think so. Pretty wild looking it has to be said, but I didn’t for a minute think he was homeless.

He startled me as well, so I guess he’s on a roll. At least it ended up a pleasant encounter.

Yes, thankfully it did. In fact quite a bit pleasanter than plenty of others I’ve experienced!

With his sweaty shirt and wild look he looks like a man on a mission. Was he rushing towards you?

Nah, just at normal speed as far as I recall. Wild looks aside, it was a very humid day, so that would at least explain the state of his shirt. Mine wasn’t all that dissimilar!
