A young Japanese Brett Anderson?

The soft autumn sunlight in itself was a treat, but the Suede-like, circa early Britpop era subject was an unexpected bonus.

Yes, he’s definitely not lacking in the cheekbone department!

Ha-ha. What a resemblance! I’ve always thought we’ve got twins in the other races.

Yes, I’d definitely go with that. Seen lots of such resemblances in my time here.

Your inner “hunter” really hit gold this time. You’d have made a mint working freelance for the sadly missed Fruits magazine. Perhaps a sideline for whatever replaced it? Maybe not 🙂

This reminded me of a meeting between Brett and Bowie just before Suede’s debut album …. hang on this must be somewhere on the interwebs … yep, what a wonderful time we live in … https://tinyurl.com/uhpj24l
Wow, 1993, that long ago, and exactly the right era. A marvelous read.
Thanks for bringing back these memories.

Nah, maybe not. Not sure I’d be the best person for shooting street fashion. Or indeed any kind of fashion!

And thank you for the link. Totally agree. A genuinely great read. Made my morning train journey a very enjoyable one. The only downside was that it once again made me realise that the world is a far less interesting place without David Bowie in it.
