It’s alway rewarding to take photos that tell stories, or at the very least hint at them — the constant hope of which propels me to pick up my camera and head out into the world. Now and again though, some scenes are simply appealing. Sometimes they even produce a smile. And so these then are a colour and transportation themed series of such sights. Several of them are older shots, whereas others are very recent finds taken on my Tokyo Photowalk Tours.

I’ve always loved the first shot!

Thank you. One I’m very happy with. A shot I really had to do a lot of work for, which makes it extra special.

A Graffiti in Japan Book or Image Series will be awesome. See many of them in backgrounds.

Cheers. Definitely more graffiti about than many people imagine. I actually put a series together on Instagram late last year. Here it is: https://www.instagram.com/p/DQ_hT_bkwkN/?igsh=YTJrZG1ieTVwbWJr

A wonderful collection showing how your dedication (and a smidge of luck) allows for such impossibly great photographs.
Some nice memories too – what was that guy lurking beyond the black and red door doing? 🙂
Followed your link to your instagram and love the Why I photograph video. You should add that your About page.

Thank you very much. I enjoyed putting this set together.
Cheers. Not comfortable on that side of the camera, but I’m happy with how that came out.

Sublime. They’re all great though I am partial to rust in particular. Well done.

Thanks a lot, and me too. It doesn’t have the same punchy colours, but there’s definitely something very special about that one.
