The piece of paper below was handed to me by a colleague to explain an unusually large bandage; protecting what turned out to be an intricately injured digit.

Now admittedly my knowledge of fashion is far from extensive, but since when have style and smell had anything to do with each other?

Unfortunately the label on the garment pictured below failed to say if its rather unforgiving use of English was aimed at any major in particular.

But dedicated followers of fashion and high-ranking military personnel haters needn’t worry about causing offence. The colourful language is attached by velcro, allowing it to be removed when in polite company.

Mildly amusing English usage #9

To promote the Kiss model of its EOS digital camera series, Canon has took the decidedly unoriginal approach of using images associated with the rock band Kiss.

Now considering that Queen have seen something of a revival here due to one of their songs being used in a popular drama, the chances of the Canon advertising campaign producing similar results for Kiss is a distinct possibility.

However before you could say bandwagon, one particular clothing company appears to have leapt so fast that it forget that all important spell check.
