Droop inducing dolls

The Japanese birth rate continues to fall at an alarming rate, but the new sex education dolls pictured below could well make things worse. Potentially putting a whole generation off sex forever.

Or perhaps even more worrying; they could make the porn moustache fashionable again.

Toilet trespasser

Having recently moved to Tokyo from nearby Ibaraki Prefecture, 22-year-old Shinpei Umezawa’s return to the region on Sunday evening may have seemed quite innocent. But rather than visiting family members or catching up with old friends, the young electrician was actually up to no good with a digital camera and a small mirror.

Securing himself a spot in one of the cubicles at a women’s train station toilet, Umezawa-san set about trying to take a few clandestine snap shots. However after only 25 minutes, his foray into furtive photography came to an abrupt and ignominious end.

Feeling there was something suspicious (or alternatively somebody was having an especially torrid time on the toilet), a commuter reported the long-locked lavatory. A decision that led to Umezawa’s capture, and eventual arrest — for trespassing of all things.

Sharapova shuffle

Similar to most places around the world, tennis ace Maria Sharapova is a huge celebrity in Japan, although arguably the Russian star is more popular for her panties than she is for her powerful serve. Yes, whenever the teen sensation plays in Japan, her every move is closely followed (and photographed) by hordes of camera wielding panty perverts.

Such unsavoury behaviour has led one local company to try and take the focus away from her undergarments. Instead moving the attention on to her, erm, breasts. The Sharanpowan taking sporting spin-offs to new and previously uncharted depths.

Plus for more delicate forehand play, the sports top (which comes in three different colours) can be easily removed.

Ideal for cleaning too, should any, ahem, shots go astray.

Pillow talk

No Japanese model worth her salt is without a stack of DVDs and calendars bearing her image. But the people behind Misako Yasuda have managed to pull off a blinder in the spin-off product department. Namely the Tugging Hugging Pillow.

The life-size pillow is presumably well made and constructed of resilient material considering it retails at a rather pricey 16,000 yen (80 pound). Meaning a good rub should get rid of even the most troublesome of stains. Its size also means that it could be used to jerk work off a bit of stress as a novelty punch bag. A few thrusts and pokes easing any pent-up frustration.

And for would-be wankers bankers, the option of a pillow and sheets (pictured below) pack for 23,000 yen makes shrewd economic sense. A saving of 2,000 yen (10 pound).

Ok, that’s enough. You’ll be glad to know I’m schoolboy humoured out.

Legislating against lewdness

In a move that will no doubt deny this site a lot of sex related posts, the governing Liberal Democratic Party has proposed a new law specifically targeting upskirt photographers and other nefarious users of concealed cameras.

Not that such activity isn’t already illegal, but currently anyone caught up to no good can only be prosecuted under prefectural ordinances and the Minor Offence Law. Meaning many perpetrators get away with just a small fine. And perhaps if they are famous or hold a public position, a spot of unwanted publicity too.

The new legislation is expected to include (at the very least) a unified set of penalties for the misuse of concealed cameras. Punishment for those who knowingly sell images taken with such devices. And owners of places like hotels and public baths being forced to protect their patrons from unwittingly becoming stars of films or websites

The news of this proposed legislation comes at a time when the use of hidden cameras is said to be reaching epidemic proportions. Figures from the National Police Agency state there were 1,892 arrests and apprehensions for upskirt photography and concealed camera use last year. But the actual figure is said to be considerably higher as those arrested for trespassing were not included.

But with these changes in the law, and women only carriages becoming widespread, what’s next for the nation’s devious deviants?
