Contemplation in a Tokyo shopping arcade

Super convenient they may not be, but quiet shopping streets do allow for similarly quiet moments.

Interesting shot. Like the colors. Been trying to work out if that gaze is a content one or not but I’m still no nearer. But I guess that’s a good thing. Has me guessing!

      Cheers.

No idea either, although it’d be nice to think it was contentedness. Could well be too. It’s a very friendly, and seemingly close-knit area. At least in regards the many older residents anyway.

Love these places: in some towns these can be busy as permanent markets where you have to squeeze through the shoppers, in other places, like this one, you have only the memory of the shoppers and wonder if anybody is alive in there.

Likewise. This one especially has real character. Some parts of it are actually quite busy, with lots of older residents milling about. But not the particular section in the photo.
