Creative Japanese car parking

In a nod of sorts to the chicken and the egg dilemma, it’s hard to know which came first: the house, or the car?

Too weird for words 🙂 The garages haven’t really kept up in size when the size and the number of cars grew

That’s very true. I’ve seen countless car bonnets sticking out of garages. Plus cars parked in spaces that must require their drivers to exit via almost acrobatic maneuverers

That’s a fairly old Soarer in the photo. Given how the Japanese vehicle registration system makes it increasingly costly to hold on to a vehicle as it get older and how quickly the vehicle value depreciates, I’m surprised to see this one still tagged.

Yeah, it must be worth next to nothing considering its age. But due to the trouble the owner has gone to keep (and park) it, my guess he’s an enthusiast. Especially so as it looks in surprisingly good condition.
