Cute Japanese kindergarten kid carts

Cute is a horribly overused word in Japan, but when it comes to these kindergarten kid carts, for once it is fully warranted.

    She’s on her way home from shopping at ToddlerMart.

        Haha! Those 3 for the price of 2 deals aren’t always all they are made out to be.

      What a great idea!! The cart I mean, not the toddler mart. Although, who wouldn’t want to test drive a new toddler before you decide whether you want to take him or her home? But yes, super cute, very safe and I bet the kids love it!!

      Yeah, it’s not a bad way to get about on a nice day. Those kids have it made.

      I haven’t seen that many really, so they are still something of a novelty.

        They are?
        I just moved a while ago and now live near a kindergarten, so I see them very often, but can’t tell if it’s something rather new.

          Nah, only a novelty to me. I’ve never lived near a kindergarten, so they have never been a regular sight.

    They are really cute!! This cart is a very good idea for the kids to stay together without getting scattered or lost.

    Yes, totally agreed!! Cute is overused!! Every thing, pretty, beautiful, small, kiddies, only “Kawaii”
    I want to say someone beautiful, I thought I can use “kirei” but my friend told me to use “kawaii”. I was confusing!!Honestly, My Japanese language is still horrible !

      Kirei = beautiful
      Kawaii = cute

      No confusion there. Maybe it’s a cultural thing.

        It is I think. Saying someone is beautiful in my mind is way more of a compliment than cute, but as Winnie says, that’s often the wrong thing to say.

    Cute as those carts are, I can’t help but always think that the children look more like they are taking a tumbril ride in Revolutionary France…

      No idea to be honest, but there was a small playground in the direction they were heading.
