Delivery by bicycle, urban Tokyo style

Trucks and motorbikes are utilised for the bulk of small deliveries in Tokyo, but the trusty old bicycle is fortunately still a firm favourite for some.

Looks like the tradition of not putting enough air (or any in many cases) continues unabated.

Haha, well spotted. It’s an odd one eh? So many shops with pumps outside, yet so many people simply ignore them.

I love these busy textural photographs of yours. An infinity of detail surrounding the subject.
That guy is riding with such comfortable ease he could be sat on a deep sofa watching TV rather than out on the street delivering flowers and bentos.
Axis Two is an odd name – a club for paranoids – a shop for narcissists – an OCD self help centre?
And I want that Red Bull table for the garden 🙂

      Thanks. Glad to hear it.

He does look very comfortable, doesn’t he? Clearly something he does on a regular basis.

Can’t remember what Axis Two is, but I’ve long since given up trying to work out Japanese shop names and the like. Very often they are English words for the sake of using English, with seemingly no thought or care in regards their meaning — or indeed lack of meaning!
