Was this done with a tilt-shift lens? It sort of looks like it, especially if you focus only on the bottom half. It would be more pronounced if the buildings didn’t go strait up to the top of the photo.
No, it was taken with a regular lens Alex. I know what you mean though. An effect achieved through pure luck rather than skill though it has to be said.

I got lost at a neighborhood just like this one, when I was in Tokyo. I almost didn’t want to find my way back to the hotel… Nice shot Lee, thanx for the memory trip ^^

Probably Jonathan, although for whatever reason, quite a few of the blocks are now empty, making the area considerably less busy than it once was.

Oh I see, actually there are quite a few empty apartment blocks over here now as well, there are some built areas that are not so built up anymore!
