Eyes that have seen too much, and eyes that don’t want to see any more?

Understandable reactions as 2014 begins to draw to a close?

More like eyes that haven’t slept too much!

Yeah, that’s very true. A long working life of long hours no doubt.

That’s the face of a retired gentleman with no hobbies, it’s always just been the office for him, and now realizes that he still has 30 more years to go….

Quite possibly. Always find the contrast interesting. In many ways Japan is a real nation of hobbyists, and yet there are also those who put so much int their work that there is no time for anything else. Heaven knows what a shock it must be when work finally finishes and there’s nothing to fill all those hours…

He’s got something on a lanyard in his shirt pocket. Could be spectacles or maybe an identity badge.

Best wishes for Christmas Lee. I was over early enough to avoid Maria Carey Xmas songs this year. Always thankful for small mercies.

Yeah, not sure what that was.

Thanks. You too. Have a good ‘un! Ah, lucky. Although to be fair I’ve only heard it a few times. Last Christmas, on the other hand, has been a very different story altogether….

“Ew! Why is that old man flashing me his tramp stamp?”
