Fascinating Tokyo face

The city itself certainly makes for an appealing backdrop, but for me at least, it’s the people that make Tokyo really interesting. People, for example, like the woman below. A lady whose wonderfully featured face not only stands out in a crowd, but also gives the distinct impression that she’s an individual who is most definitely not to be messed with.

    I think most of Lee’s subjects are not too positive about his attention, and that is what makes the photos so interesting.

      Glad you think so, that’s certainly how I see it. Smiles are lovely in pretty much all other situations, but I much prefer a look of bewilderment, curiosity or some other expression in a photo. Makes it much more interesting.
