After already featuring far too many cherry blossom flavoured photos, these will definitely be the last, although in my defence, it can be really hard to resist when it’s arguably the perfect time for playing with pals,
sharing pictures with partners,
pottering about in the hope of taking pictures of people hoping to take pictures,
or possibly even posing with peace signs for a self portrait.

I did the same yesterday ( Easter) in Shinjuku Garden. Your first photo of the little kids is the type I was taking lying on the grass at kid level as well as couples using their “keitai” to take pictures of themselves buried in the blossoms.

Call me a Japanaphile(because I am), but it seems like your concentrating on depressing or destorted outlook f=wch to me begs the question…why live in Japan if you this depressed or not fond of it? Well, ok you don’t have to obsess over Japan, but at least show what you love about Japan once in a while or better yet what peeks your positive interest. I lived in Japan for about 2 years and I know of the things you speak of to be alternatively true, but I also had a great time and great cultural exchanges though very comical at times ( you know with the Engrish).
