Fun but far from practical penny-farthing

Top of the range and terribly expensive racing bikes are all well and good, but for any seasoned cyclist looking to really stand out from the crowd, a penny-farthing is not only preferable.

It’s practically a prerequisite.

    Are yabai groups seen often around where you are? They’ve been popping up here where I live in the states.

      That’s interesting Akimika, I’d never even heard of such a thing. There are definitely some unusual bikes knocking about in Tokyo, but the nearest equivalent I guess would be Dekochari. There are some great pics of these outlandish machines here

    I always thought these kinds of bikes were called bone shakers. At least, that’s what we call them in the States.
