I guess that’s how the Neko bus in totoro would look like on LSD. 🙂

I have a very strong feeling that Miyazaki was on LSD when he dreamed the cat bus up. Cat bus up! Cat bus up! Cat bus up! Sorry.

It’d be great if he was. Even better if he then admitted it.

With it’s love of him and hatred of drugs, the whole country would quite possibly implode!

I don’t know what it is to be honest. They started wheeling it down the street towards Kabukicho, so anything is possible really…

Wonder what they were made for. Very interesting contrast between the drab grey of a Tokyo ‘burb and thee cats. On second thought. perhaps they were made to jar the drab, grey Japanese society?

No Idea I’m afraid. I’d be keen to know myself. But as I mentioned above, they were being wheeled towards Kabukicho, so absolutely anything is possible!

what I like in that picture is the truck===the side and top open–ingenious for small space. I love Japan’s adaptation of vehicles to its crowded limitations!!!

That’s an interesting point. I hadn’t even though about that.

Nah, never been. To be honest, the whole Ghibli thing has never appealed. Have given it a try, but it just didn’t do anything for me.
