    I feel bad saying so, but crouched down and dressed in black the monk/priest(?) gives me the creeps……

      You shouldn’t, that’s a fair comment. Crouched like that he does make for an unusual presence.

    I like the various reflective surfaces in the frame; marble, metal, glass…
    Even the monk could be snatching a quiet reflective moment before facing the world of Ginza.
    Then again, maybe he’s texting “No, I won’t forget the the tofu” to his temple’s kitchen boss.
    It’s odd looking through your lens at your reflection so far away looking at the monk right infront of us.

      Cheers. It was the glitter ball and, erm, glitter woman that initially caught my attention. Then of course the contrast with the monk.

      Yes, I suppose it is. To be honest, I didn’t even notice my reflection until I was editing the photo. Looking at that reflection again now, and all the people behind me, it’s a minor miracle I managed to get the shot with only the monk in the frame.
