With Japan’s nuclear fears now very different from the 1950s when the first films were made, it seems unpleasantly apt that this Godzilla is intent on terrorising suburban areas, rather than Tokyo Bay and more central parts of the city.

About 5 minutes from home. A bit of a surprise for sure!

Great shot, love the pole and the cables in the background

Thanks a lot. There was a building on the other side that I played about with at first, but the cables worked out much better.

It looks even less happy about being photographed than the cat!
A sequel maybe..Godzilla saves the suburbs from giant cable nibbling (radioactive?) rats.
Must listen to ‘Godzilla’ by the Creatures again :o) You could advertise Godzillabilia here!

It does, doesn’t it? And considering how angry the cat looked, I reckon that’s quite an achievement!

Yes, that’s a big achievement indeed!
You can now rate you responses on the ‘Godzilla scale’, but hopefully never get up to 11!
