Gritty, grimy Tokyo

With its neon and numerous big screens, Tokyo isn’t exactly lacking in colour. Not by any stretch of the imagination. But head down the city’s side streets, and those hues often have a very different feel; from the gritty spray of cans, to the grime of far less identifiable substances.

Nothing too untoward in the substance itself. From a kitchen I presume. But still far from pleasant.

You know that scene from Alien3 when the guy backs into a huge ventilation fan? Something like that probably came out on the other side too 😉

Haha, even more reason not to venture into the restaurant associated with that kitchen!

Lee I’m surprised you didn’t step in. Would’ve liked to see what it was they were cooking. Deep fried something or other Id guess

That’s a good point. It was mid-afternoon and it’s not a place I usually eat or drink in, so it never even crossed my mind. But now that you’ve mentioned it, it would definitely be worth at least a look. I shall report back if it turns out to be something worthwhile.
