When it’s as hot and humid as it was today, and one has heartily ploughed through the heftiest of hefty midday meal deals, a post-lunch lie down, practically anywhere that’s even remotely passable, is plainly a priority.

Looks like the Japanese are starting to get bigger too……
As wonderful as the alliteration is…I doubt it was silent nor do it think that was snoozing. That definitely is heat stroke and the best thing to do is air out your shirt, elevate the head, have an icepack or something cold on your forehead and try to sleep. That person is on a sidewalk outside on cement during the day. Since something is under his head i’m pretty sure he didn’t faint. With that said, the only way he’d go down like that is if it was unbearable enough that he couldn’t function properly. As much as I like beautiful allieration, I think this guys deserves a cellphone more lol
As far as I know Andy, he was fine. Just a really hot day. And yet for some reason he chose to lie down somewhere that wasn’t particularly cool or comfortable…
Well thats good. But he definitely had heat stroke. Often times when people have heat stroke they faint or even lose some function to the extent where you’d lay down anywhere even if it was bad for you. Also I didn’t mention on obvious step in my other post. That is to drink something cold. Well thats a big thing that prevents you from getting heat stroke outside in the first place lol. I’m glad he wasn’t that bad. I travel all over and i’ve seen many people with heatstroke. Even if i don’t speak in their native tongue, i’ll help them if no1 else will. For them to feel comfortable you’ll have to smile and show that you care and that you know what you’re doing. You only have to do that if they didn’t faint because they have little say if they aren’t conscious : )

Sorry Lee, couldn’t resist it!

No need to apologise. And how on earth could I, of all people, get angry about such lovely alliteration!

Such an odd place to lie down. Why not go inside or a park bench…

Living in Nagoya for a year and a half, I experienced such hot and humid weather that the hard drive on my computer rusted and became unusable.
