Japanese autumn colours

A cliched scene for sure. Arguably almost too traditionally Japanese to be true as well. But at the same time it is, without a doubt, really quite beautiful.

The colours are wonderful, aren’t they? Must admit, I have a real soft spot for bonsai. Beautiful things.

I wouldn’t shy away from a scene just because it reeks of a cliché, I’m glad you shared it as it is truly beautiful

      Thank you.

That’s a very good point. Beauty is beauty whether it’s a cliche or not. I do love bonsai too. They have a wonderful collection where I took the photo. Some absolutely stunning works of art. Never tire of seeing them.

The really captures Nihonjin art: simple, clean and colors that work together.

Yes, that’s very true. Done well it’s really hard to beat, isn’t it?

Goodness! Nothing cliche or blase about the wonder of bonsai. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen one turn in the fall before.

The place where I shot this is near where I live, and they have a fantastice bonsai collection. So fortunately I get to see it every year. They truly are wondrous things, aren’t they?

I agree with Jeffrey. Bonsai can never be cliched.

I have never known that bonsai trees also change colors during autumn. This is very interesting. Great shot Lee!
