Yes, four years. Oddly, despite the years generally seeming to slip by at an alarming rate, the earthquake and the ensuing disasters do seem like a long time ago. At least to me anyway. Almost like another time in some respects.

Yeah, I remember that too. Even in normal situations I’ve always felt there’s something sad, almost lonely about the caw of the crow. But after those horrors it was on a whole other level. . .

I recall a video somewhere on you tube of the tsunami, and after it passes all you can hear is the deathly call of those crows.
