Japanese eyes everywhere?

Particularly in older Japanese properties, the proverb ‘walls have ears’ rings especially true, with not much more than a murmur from a neighbour, let alone music, often noticeable.

In some parts of Tokyo, however, they don’t just have ears, but also eyes.

Yes, in Takadanobaba. Not sure whether it’s graffiti or part of the building’s decor to be honest. But as the place is now pretty much abandoned, it may as well be the former.

I don’t know what it is to be honest Winnie, but it’s certainly very striking.

I was waiting for the man to be in a position where the eyes on the wall were watching him. And then at that moment, he looked at me.

Oh! I thought maybe they were both looking at you; wondering what the heck you were up to. They both seem to have the same expression, though.

That’s interesting that you both thought the graffiti eyes were looking at me.

And, having looked again, I can see what you mean.
