Tokyo’s streets may well be reasonably clean and orderly, but for the large number of people who live on them, along with those in temporary rooms one precarious rung above, they are scenes to be forgotten. Or at least attempted to be forgotten.

I’m hoping to achieve the old bit, but there again, if it means I can’t make it to the toilet, then a rethink might be in order. Although in Japan, where adult nappies now outsell baby ones, there’s always that dubious option…

He has. Quite a few cups presumably, although despite his predicament, he was capable of conversing, because we had a quick chat. Got once shot with his face in full view, but opted not to use that considering the state he was in.
