Haha. Fortunately it was just a case of pressing the shutter rather than the panic button!

Haha, which one is which? 🙂
Very helpful of the lady on the right to shade her face so it isn’t blown out.

I’ll let you make that decision!

      I know. Very accommodating eh?

Hey! Even though it’s winter I’m still going to wear my “fashionable” shorts. I will then complain about how cold I am to my friends.

    Mm… what sticker/stamp should I send?

It’s been an unusually mild winter so far, although not quite short shorts mild. Well, at least not in my mind anyway. Not that I ever wear short shorts I hasten to add. Winter or otherwise!

Absolutely, until today I could walk around in my shirt in Tokyo, but today is cold for the first time during my stay in Tokyo.
I also was a week in Biei, Hokkaido photographing trees and there was a load of snow every day there and pretty cold which frankly felt right, I had come for winter. 🙂

Today was miserable, but been quite the opposite until now eh? Positively balmy on some days.

Glad to hear you got the weather you were expecting in hokkaido though. I know how beautiful it is in summer, so keen to see how those photos came out when the the weather is very different.

So, you are inferring that the girl on the left is working? OK – I am often working when I am on my phone as well. If you mean working as in “working” I think that is rather presumptuous and insulting.

No, no, not in the slightest. The woman on the left is very clearly enjoying a day off. Or at least she appears that way to me. It’s the woman on the right who is obviously at work. The office clothes, bag etc. Plus her body language is so ill at ease compared to the far more relaxed nature of the other person.

Younger Girl texts: “Hi sis, waiting 4 U at Shinji B13”
Elder Girl thinks: That’s where I am, where is she, damnit, I can’t see a thing.

Great photograph again. The reflection in the polished steel facade is my favourite bit, her body profile is perfectly framed there.
And it was that shiny column that identified the location for me, I tried to get a shot of the nearby highrises reflected in it, but it was too busy when I was there.

I know what she feels like being blinded by the sun. All too reminiscent of my early working days, emerging from a midweek lunchtime drinking session in a dimly lit basement bar into blinding daylight and a street full of speeding prams, flailing old ladies elbows and other hazards we felt an unreasonable burden on our, by then, less than perfect reflexes. How times have changed. Even drinking on a Friday lunchtime is frowned upon these days.

Thanks a lot. Yeah, the reflection came out very well. A lucky extra!

A really busy area, isn’t it? I very fortunately got a brief gap between the pedestrians to get the shot.

It’s a very different world eh? Better in many ways, but most definitely not all…
