Jubilant Japanese

Whether young or old, rich or poor, everyone it seems is guaranteed a warm welcome at this somewhat overly eager amusement hall in western Tokyo.

    This doesn’t seem so crazy after what I’ve seen in the U.S. Are the Japanese that unhappy? They seem happy here in Paris.

    By all accounts they are getting happier Eric, with 1,254 less suicides in the first six months of this year compared to the same period in 2005.

    But with the half-year figure still at a shockingly high 14,828, there’s still a long way to go…

    I always understood that the Japanese just put on any English words in any non-distinct sequence to make it look funky … and to admit; if I see ‘Happy Hello’ it works! They should franchise out to Europe.
