Shadowy Tokyo looks

Masked or unmasked, it’s almost all in the eyes.

Love it! Again, the lighting gives it a striking theatrical look.

Thanks! Good to hear. Yeah, the light in spots like this is wonderful. Doesn’t always work, and my patience eventually runs out when nothing is happening, but when it does come together it’s usually worth the wait.

If I didn’t know you I’d be sure this was a set up with some famous character actor I’ve never heard of.

Sadly not a famous actor, but he definitely has a great look, doesn’t he?

This has to be a contender for the best yet in your “Out of the shadows” series.
The character in the face of the guy is incredible, and the lady has a look reminiscent of the Buddha Eyes fliers of the recent past.

Thank you ver much. Must admit I’m very pleased with how it came out.

The man was obviously my focus, as like you said, he has an incredible face. But to also get the woman in the background was something else. Lovely when things work out like that. And yeah, good call on her look. Hadn’t thought of that until you mentioned it.

You’re such a talented artist Lee!:) Absolutely wonderful picture. The contrast between the two subjects is amazing. If you ever decide to publish your works in a book, please do inform:) keep safe up there.

Thank you. That’s very kind of you. Too kind I think!

I did work out well. Way better than expected, as I was only shooting the man. But to have the woman in the background was a wonderful extra that made the photo. One of those fortunate moments that help make up for the many unfortunate ones!

That’s a lovely idea. Would definitely be nice, so one day, maybe. And thanks. You too. Hopefully we’ve somehow dodged a really bad outbreak.
