Steely Tokyo life and light

On a drab and overcast suburban day, there was a brief, very welcome bright spell, transforming what would have been a mostly grey scene into something quite different.

I like what you did here and you sure were in the perfect spot when the sunlight came out. So perfectly lit!

Cheers! It all came together very nicely. Couldn’t have timed the surprise appearance of the sun, or the passing of the old lady any better if I’d tried. Lovely when things work out like that.

For such a plain, at first sight, there are a lot of light, reflection and shadow nuances to this.
I like the double shadow the lady casts.
The company that makes those steel fences must be making a mint.

Yeah, that’s what really appealed to me. The reflections of the woman and the light on the pavement in particular. Plus those cracks in the road. Something I didn’t actually notice at the time.

I know eh? That area has what must be kms of fencing like this…

I discovered Kawasaki triple drag racing last evening. She’s all ready in the orange zone.

I like that a lot. Fits perfectly.

Haha, this is a training session for the west Tokyo suburban seniors version. A lot quieter and considerably more sedate, but no less competitive.
