The joy of seeing a Japanese knife juggler

This young entertainer in a Tokyo park had the lot. He told jokes. Possessed a whole host of great visual gags. Plus along with countless other tricks, he could juggle knives and eat an apple at the same time. A performance so consummate in fact, that it could only be equalled by the wonderful expressions of those watching.

Must be a good act, the crowd looks enthralled. The guy on the ground does look like he’s ready to move quickly.

He was. Probably the best I’ve seen. Really funny too.

All things considered, the reluctant volunteer was surprisingly calm. A lot calmer than I would have been that’s for sure.

I don’t know how often he’s there, but yeah, that’s where I saw him.

I’m laughing because the little girl looks so anxious, and the little boys just look like “YEAH! Knives!”

Yeah, I really like that contrast. Perfectly sums up the differences.
