The self-confident swagger of a Tokyo salaryman?

The light that day was far from usual, and one suspects this fella is also a far from usual Japanese salaryman.

Ha! Funny, I was on the plane from Toronto to Vancouver today and one of the movies they had was Tampopo (which I haven’t watched in years). This guy’s attitude reminds me of the truck driver 🙂

Ah, haven’t seen that in many years myself. A good reason to watch again and see if I feel the same!

I like the setting and light. Very cool! But my question. Is he self-confident or arrogant?! 😉

Cheers. It’s a great little spot when the sun is shining.

That’s a good question. A very fine line at times, but as we didn’t speak, I’ll be kind and say self-confident!

That guy has so much personality. I love the way his eyeballs are perfectly shaded.
No disrespect to the gentleman, but he does remind me of the Hood a little.

He really does, doesn’t he? Spotted him and his walk a good way off. And yes, he certainly has an edge about him…
