The shock of seeing a horse’s head in Tokyo

Tokyo offers so many surprises that it’s sometimes tough to be taken aback. But, a salesman, sporting a horse’s head, plainly shocks some people.

      Telephones.

No, I can’t see the connection there either!

Well, Kurosawa had problems finding horses in Japan for his films Kagemusha and Ran, I guess they must be a rare sight even in the countryside.

They certainly aren’t a common sight. In fact, on a plate is the last time I saw one…

It’s certainly not something you see everyday, that’s for sure.

Not a reference to ‘gift horses’ I suspect, nor to Mr Ed the talking horse (head?), so I can only think that
it was the only head that was left? At least it has at least got some free advertising on TokyoTimes !

Yeah, I have no idea what it’s a reference to, especially as SoftBank use a dog for lots of its advertising. It does grab people’s attention though, so it certainly serves a purpose.

So funny!! Maybe, the horse head could attract more people to sign contact.
