The total misery of shopping in Tokyo?

Shopping is a genuine source of pleasure for many people in Tokyo, but for some it would appear to produce only despondency.

Nice timing. That’s me every time I’m shopping! 😉

Cheers. Unless I’m shopping for gadgets, records or books I’m pretty much the same.

Yes, it’s very easy to empathise, isn’t it?

    Perfect timing…

I’ve also gotta ask, “How much time do you spend in Ameyoko Street?”

      Cheers.

Haha, that’s a very fair question. Friends have a good chuckle at this too. It’s generally not “Where did you go?”, but, “Ueno again was it?”.

When it’s nice and sunny, there’s an hour or so of wonderful light shining right up Ameyoko. And the temptation to go and enjoy it is almost always too much.

So the answer is quite a lot!

        Thanks for your reply… 🙂

It’s definitely somewhere I want to revisit later in the year – this time with a different focus on the sort of photograph I want to take…

          You are welcome.

Definitely worth revisiting. Get there around 11-ish on a sunny day and you’ll have some lovely light to play with too.

He sure has a glum expression.
With the prefect dark under the cap and that expression I can’t help thinking of an off duty Judge Dread 🙂

Yeah, I thought of that when I saw his expression and darkened features. Just a shame about the Mizuno cap…
