      Yes, it is, isn’t it?

They are quite evil looking things though, so definitely a dark cloud.

Cheers! Yes, definitely a place where they are very much at home.

      Thanks.

Yeah, I actually waited for it. The bird was sat on top of the roof and I hoped it’d fly off in that direction. Fortunately it did, but I had to wait far longer than I expected…

    Great shot!
I always like to observe them when I in Japan, Crow or Raven.Always so beautiful.
They are so interesting and cute!!

When I lived in Tokyo, I walked the Black metal Bridge in Shibaura ( forgot the name) almost every day, there was one large beautiful smart-looking raven. . Either She is resting or looking for her “Cat” friend (She just want to disturb the cat). I think they can be good friends! 🙂

      Thanks!

That’s interesting. I’ve always found them rather sinister. Even quite scary close up as their beaks are huge.

We had a tame raven back in the day – reised by hand, released, but often returning apparently out of disinterested friendship, some times bringing birdly gifts (most memorable: a mouse). Always a daunting !

Wow. Can only imagine what that must be like, as they sizeable birds. Fascinating to hear it comes back on a regular basis. Not to mention with gifts.
