Very happy to say not long at all. Turned the corner and spied her heading my way, so just waited the 30 seconds or so it took her to pass. But that said, I pass by this way a lot, and have always looked out for someone interesting walking past. And it has never happened. Until this time!
This is absolutely perfect Lee, my question is the same as Linda’s. I know you didn’t set this up, you would never stoop that low. How long did you wait? A masterpiece, congrats.
As I said to Linda, barely any time at all, but if you added up all the times I’ve passed there and briefly waited, then it’s probably quite a bit.
The only bad part was it was busy, and there was a real danger I’d get a load of other, less coordinated people in the frame. Luckily, however, things pretty much worked out, and they all kept just enough distance between themselves for me to get what I wanted. So nice when that happens!
A very striking image to start the weekend with.
That’s an interesting wall, with several layers of art.
The coordination between the pink/black/white of the girl and the wall is striking.
I think a black and white version might make her look almost a part of the wall.
Looking at the faces on the wall, it looks like a slam on Hello Kitty, as many of the faces are of cats and also many have her ubiquitous pink bow on the left side. A very interesting shot. I wonder of the young lady is a fan of Hello Kitty?

How long did you have to wait for someone so fabulously color-coordinated with that wall?

Very very cool! Awesome timing too. A perfect match! 🙂

Thanks! Yeah, got lucky with this one, both in the timing and the colour-coordination!

It is. Those faces have gradually increased in number over time. It’s been fascinating to see them slowly take over the whole wall.
Yeah, very pleased how it all came together. Really satisfying when that happens.

Thanks. Yes, there’s definitely a connection there. Whether the young woman is a fan though is a lot less clear.
