This is such a quite moment. I hope he was seeing exciting new horizons. I think we all need some of those.

It was. Very peaceful. And yes, we really do…

2022’s not proven too great thus far (for the likes of me) but we can but hope that the future will be better and brighter, right?

On a lighter note: I’ve heard that you can spot Mount Fuji on a clear day from that observation deck. (It’s the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building’s, right?) Have thus far not been able to do so on my visits to there though!

Very sorry to hear that. Feels the same here. But yes, we can hope for a better and brighter future. In fact we have to hope for such a thing.

Yeah, that’s right. Heard that as well, but it has never been visible when I’ve been there either. Been on some really clear days too. Conditions must have to be absolutely perfect!

It is awesome when you can see Mt. Fuji from Tokyo. I have been lucky enough to see it a few times…once on my wedding day, in fact!

It is. A sight that never fails to amaze. And no doubt even more so on your wedding day!

    You, sir, are an artist.
I can imagine the guy working out of that building and taking a few moments during his lunch break to nip up to the viewing floor for a minute or two of reflective tranquility looking out over Meiji Jingu before heading out on his afternoon assignment.

Whenever you share with us a photograph of yours like this I think to myself that your work belongs in a place like …

    https://www.rainbowsharpsleep.com/gallery.jpg

… The Tokyo Photographic Art Museum in Ebisu, where my good lady captured me lost in a favourite Masataka Nakano photograph.

Ah, thank you very much. That’s really kind of you. How nice would that be…

That was a fantastic exhibition, wasn’t it? Not just the photos, but how some of them were printed so big too. So rare to see that for some reason. Very memorable. Definitely up there as one of my favourites.

Thanks! Uncertain times for all of us right now. We try to stay safe and be patient in hopes that things will improve.

Thanks a lot. That’s very good to hear as I’m pleased with the way this one came out.

Yes, me too. Let’s keep our fingers crossed eh?
