Tokyo mods

It might well be 40 years ago since Quadrophenia was first seen on UK cinema screens, but even now, in Tokyo, a weekend life based around scooters and sharp suits still lives on.

So cool. They could be stars in a movie! ๐Ÿ™‚

They certainly had quite a look. Definitely a nice change from the usual cars and taxis as well.

Yeah, a sharp look, but also quite timeless. One that definitely fits the young fella in the photo too.

Not enough mirrors on the scooter. Boo!

Haha, a minimalist mod it would seem.

So much style. Tie even matches the road lane.
I looked up the “Crazy Scooter Club The Numbers! Tokyo”. Seems they are quite active, and there are plenty of photo posts of their more blingy Vespa chandeliers for those that crave it!
Always a rocker myself – never had a penchant for sharp dressing – though if I’d had the silhouette of, say, Paul Weller, things might have been different ๐Ÿ™‚

I know eh? And his girlfriend’s socks. That’s real attention to detail!

The rest of the gang went past just a little before them actually. Some of them with mirrors a plenty. Thing is, I’d heard them, but couldn’t get near enough in time. Was well disappointed, until the man above appeared. Seems they had got detached from the group and weren’t quite sure which way they had gone. The perfect chance then to move in and get a quick photo.

Yes, they really are. Or at least these two are anyway.

This photo is a serious teaser. It makes me wonder how the beauty on the back is attired.

Sheโ€™d opted for the rather more standard parka.
